There are very few objects required to brew great tea. In a perfect world little more than water and tea leaves are needed. However, in our often imperfect world the water and leaves sometimes need a little help. In our store we carry dozens of products to help you brew great tea, but on our website we only carry those required brewing objects that we feel safe to ship without fear of breakage. For a much larger selection of teaware, please feel free to visit our location on Queen Anne Hill in Seattle.

The Teacup's favorite to go option is these lovely teabags from Japan. As an "on the go" culture, the Japanese have developed these fold over teabags for those of us that don't have the time to sit around and use the baskets or other infusing methods. Simply drop a teaspoon of tea leaves into the pouch, fold the bag over itself, drop into your cup and the add the correct temperature water. Off you go, with tea steeping! Once the tea has steeped to your liking you can remove the bag and throw it away. Sometimes teacuppers even prepackage a couple of these teabags and take them with us when we travel, that way we never need to be without our wonderful tea! (60 cup sized bags in one packet)
