Discounts

If you order larger amounts of tea, you get a discount on your purchase as follows.

• No discount for orders under 1 pound
• 10% off for orders at least 1 pound but less than 2 pounds
• 15% off for orders 2 pounds or more

Shipping Information

In an effort to make our lives, and the lives or our customers easier, we have a very simple shipping system. Everything we can ship UPS is shipped out of the store, usually the day the order comes in.

UPS delivers to almost every US address, residential or commercial. For those packages that can’t go UPS (like PO boxes, APO, or Alaksa and Hawaii) we ship USPS, but it usually takes us an extra day or two to make it to the post office and sometimes as much as an extra week to get the tea to you.

Our shipping rates are based on the total dollar value of the tea ordered, after all the discounts are taken.

• For orders $50 or less (after discounts for poundage), the shipping cost is $6.50
• For orders over $50 (after discounts), the shipping is always free!

Return Policy

We are sorry, but health codes prohibit us from taking any returns on tea leaves. We take returns on merchandise for store credit only.

Privacy Policy

The Teacup will never sell, loan, or give your email address or any other information collected on this site to anyone else, ever. We will only use your email address for our mailing list if you agree to it, and we will never connect your buying information to your name or any other identifier, even for our own internal tracking. We are Internet users ourselves and believe privacy and protection are the backbone of Internet buying.
